Why Life Change
Centers Exists:

The Crisis of Today

Nearly 20 people per minute are physically abused by an intimate partner in the United States.

Approximately 5 million children are exposed to domestic violence every year -- they are more likely to attempt suicide, abuse drugs and alcohol, run away, engage in teenage prostitution, and commit sexual assault crimes.

81% of women and 35% of men who experiences rape, stalking, or physical violence reported significant short- or long-term impact such as post-traumatic stress disorder symptoms and injury

One in five women and one in 71 men will be raped at some point in their lives.

Sexual abuse, especially within the past year increased marijuana use, alcohol use, number of drugs used, and alcohol and other drug (AOD) problems.

19.7 million American adults (aged 12 and older) battled a substance use disorder in 2017. (NSDUH)

Over 20.5 million people driving under the influence of alcohol and 11.8 million driving under the influence of illicit drugs (2016).  Accidents caused by these persons affect the innocent lives of adults and children including our neighbors, friends, and family members.

Our Mission
We are dedicated to restore broken lives afflicted by childhood trauma, domestic violence, abuse, tragedies of life and substance addiction through daily training, support, guidance, love and care.

WHO WE ARE

Life Change Centers is 501c3 non-profit organization providing up to 18 months residential program forboth men and women 18 years and older. Residents are provided with a detox program, restoration process, and learning opportunities so they are equipped to reenter their community with the confidence and skills to start an honest, successful, lasting drug free life.

We strive to empower each person to restore their lives and encouraging them to serve others like they once have been served bringing hope in people’s lives. Reaching out to youth involved in gang violence, families broken apart, and adults enslaved by substance abuse, they impact hopeless people, neighborhoods, economy and future generation.​​​

 

LCC is operating with highly trained staff and a high number of volunteers. Together we have helped hundreds of people to leave addictions behind while growing spiritually, academically and financially. The program currently consists of 23 centers worldwide and continues to grow.

History of Life Change Centers

Peter Nakhaychuk
Bishop and Evangelist

Peter Nakhaychuk was an ordinary Christian man that ran a successful business, was responsible for ministry department in church. However, in 2004 Peter received a revelation from God urging him to help restore those lives broken through, childhood trauma, violence, and substance abuse. Being discouraged by the increasing loss of young lives and seeing the hardships of families of his dear friends and fellow believers with finding help for their children and grandchildren. Peter, then, quit his business and dedicated his life to this new ministry. Although, this ministry originally was started for the Slavic community, soon it attracted people from different nationalities and became international. This new work was called “Life Change.”

 

The first Christ-based rehabilitation center for men opened in Boring, Oregon in July of 2005. Since then, by Lord’s grace thousands of students have left addictions behind and let God transform their lives and lead them into ministry, giving them families and opportunity to grow spiritually, academically and financially.  Life Change program is still helping people change their lives today! As of today, we have 23 centers opened in the US and worldwide ministering not just to men but to women as well. The Life Change Centers offer up to 18-month residential program for men and women. Our students
are provided not just with a detox program and restoration process are given the unique opportunity to re-enter their community life fully restored and equipped with skills for a successful and lasting drug-free lives.
